How does it feel to be diagnosed with HIV?

Everyone reacts differently when they find out they have HIV. They may feel a wide range of emotions from guilt or blame, to shock or anger, at themselves or another person.

This is very normal, and most people have lots of emotions when they are told they have HIV. It can take some time to come to terms with it and accept the diagnosis.
