What is one small thing you can do today that will make you feel better?

Everyone has ups and downs. And if you’re feeling like you’re having a tough time, it can feel impossible to get out of. But feelings pass and things change. And there are small things you can do today to make tomorrow better, whatever situation you are in. This can be as simple as going for a walk, eating your favourite food or appreciating any small thing that has made you feel okay today.

Taking action, however small, is one of the best things you can do for your mental health. If you don’t feel able to help yourself, there are lots of people out there that will want to help. It could be a trusted friend, family member or partner. Or an organisation, online forum, peer supporter or doctor. Whatever you do, do something and it’s bound to help.
